We think about fixing and maintaining our stuff... a lot.

One thing is for sure, we have to work with what we have. The vast majority of us isn’t pulling down a six-figure salary and just buying-new whenever the older stuff breaks or doesn’t look quite the way we would want it to.

It’s more like cable commercials and we pay for the privilege to watch it. 900 channels and nothing’s on. Do you see a problem with that? We do. You can’t maintain and manage your stuff sitting in front of the flat screen.

So, you have two choices, Neo: If you take the blue pill you will leave this site and go on about your lives believing and doing whatever it is you want to believe and do. If you take the red pill we’ll show you what it will take and how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

Tie-Down Using Just Rope - Video

There are a lot of products available for purchase to tie down a load on your truck or car. Heck, we’ve purchased and used them too. But the one we always come back to is this cinching knot method that we learned from a kid at one of the home centers.

The possibilities for tie-down are endless and we’d recommend that you get creative and add more line until you’re certain the casket you’re delivering won’t budge. After all, there are people counting on you to make that delivery.

Try an X-pattern from corner to corner, wrap the rope around a leg of a piece of furniture and then cinch it tight using this method. Just keep adding and modifying until you are satisfied that your stuff is going to stay with you until you reach your destination. The best news is that you don’t need to be a bodybuilder to get things very, very tightly secured with this rig.
