Marine Projects List
Personal Water Craft / Seat Latch Repair – Odd problems happen at odd times and this one was going to be costly if we didn’t repair it DIY style. See how we turned a $500 PWC problem into a $5 solution.
Trailer / Tongue Jack Service – We were picking the boat up from storage and found that the jack-handle was frozen and we couldn’t hitch the boat. We were able to work the problem out but it was apparent that we needed to service the jack. Take a look at this project to see how we did it.
Boat / Hatch Cover Repair – We repaired a hatch cover that stared giving us trouble and did it with a rivet gun and a few other hand tools. We think we did a better job than if we’d taken it to the professionals and we did it for pennies on the dollar.
Boat / Mold and Stain Removal– Black mold showed up on our boat seats and was really cramping our style. We dug around the shop and found a product that surprised us by how well it removed the mold and the stains it leaves behind.
Trailer / Security Measures – We didn’t want our boat and trailer to be ripped off by thieves so we did something about it. For about $60 we blew some raspberries at anyone with coveting eyes and time on their hands.
Trailer / Spare Tire Security – Spare tires don’t get no respect; but they sure are costly to replace. Our trailer spare got some extra TLC as a supplement to the Security Measures project. A little welding and our love will never leave us.
Knots / How to Tie a Bowline Knot – A video that demonstrates how to create a loop at the end of a line. You can use it on your boat, lassoing your kids or tying up your spouse.
